Barbara “Peanut” Brown Lanier, 72, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at her home in York.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Bratton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at Bratton Funeral Home on Thursday.
Barbara was a daughter of the late Charlie Brown and Annie Rider Brown, and was the widow of Eddie Louis Lanier.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Dover (Vickie), James Dover (Jackie), Johnny Dover (Betty), and David Crocker, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers David Brown, Clyde Brown, and Bob Brown, and sister Margie Brown.
