YORK – Barbara Grey Norton “Bobbie” Hoke, 96, of York, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Spring Harbor Nursing Home in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in York with Rev. John Muse officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10 from 1 – 2 PM at First Presbyterian Church.
Bobbie was a daughter of the late William S. Norton and Cora Burgess Norton. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in York and was the widow of John Ralph Hoke Jr.
She is survived by two sons, John Ralph Hoke, III (Lynn) of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas Norton Hoke (Barbara Rhea) of Lugoff, SC, daughter, Betty Jo Hoke Browder of Columbia, SC, grandsons, Thomas Grey Hoke and Jacob Alexander Hoke, and two sisters, Julia Fegley of Chevy Chase, MD, and Margaret Eckerd of Mocksville, NC. In addition to her husband, Bobbie was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Hoke.
