YORK -- Anthony John Zara, 62, of 104 Kings Mountain St. passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 AM on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Divine Saviour Catholic Church in York, with Father Adilso Coehlo officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-9:30 prior to the service at the church.
Anthony was a son of John James Zara and Lorraine Schultz Zara. He was a member of Divine Saviour Catholic Church in York and he worked as a mason contractor.
In addition to his parents, Anthony is survived by wife, Gwyn Rumble Zara of York, SC, daughters, Dawn Wells (James) of Charleston, SC, Brittany Zara of Charleston, SC, Alexis Zara of York, SC, son, John Zara (Stephanie) of Charleston, SC, grandchildren Jayden Wells, Anthony Wells both of Charleston, SC, sister Lorraine DeGrande, and brother Frank Zara (Doty) both of New Jersey.
