CLOVER – Amanda Inez Jones McDaniel, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at home with her family by her side.

Born June2, 1940 in Shoal Creek, NC, Amanda was the daughter of the late Lucious and Ora Thompson Prince.

Amanda was a wonderful mother who had a fierce love for her children. She proudly was a stay at home mom until later in life when she became assistant manager at Big Lots Corporation in Gastonia. Amanda loved getting out and working. She was a dedicated employee, whom everyone loved. When Amanda wasn’t working she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved cooking, crafts, sewing, singing and playing cards or board games with her children and friends. She took great pride in taking care of her home. She was absolutely the best mother and friend anyone could ever have.

Amanda married her soul mate, James, in February 1993. Together they had a wonderful life and loved going on vacations, visiting family, and enjoyed each others company. Amanda and James were the happiest when they were together. Their love was shared with their fur babies, Sheba and Doxie.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, James, and her children, Ronnie (Alice) Aiken, Jamey (Dana) Jones, Sissy (David) Norman, Teresa (Andrew) Rusher, Cindy (Robert) Harris, Michelle (Davy) Davis, Patricia (Tony) Miller, step children, Greg McDaniel and JoyChelle McDaniel, grandchildren, Jordan Norman, Jeremy Jones, Seth Calhoun, Trevor Rusher, Katelyn Jones, Ray Miller, Taylor Davis, Garrett Jones, Emma Miller, Dustin Davis, Matthew Aiken, Valorie Norman, Miranda Aiken, Conner Norman, Olivia Norman, Connor Jones, Alicia Plott, and Melissa Clanton, great grandson Braxton Jones, sisters, Vergean Noblett, Alice Eula Mae Brown, Margaret Black, and sister in law Brenda Brunson.
