Alzada Wright

A Home-Going graveside service for Ms. Alzada Wright, former resident of 889 James Grove Church Road, Wrightsville, Ga., will be held Wednesday, December 23, at 1:00 P. M. in the Mt Pleasant A. M. E. Church Cemetery. The Rev. Amos Darrisaw will officiate and the interment will follow. Ms. Wright answered God’s call on December 21, 2020 in the Fairview Park Hospital. She was born June 9, 1948 to the parentage of Eldora and Tressie Wright. She was a life long member of Mt. pleasant A. M. E. Church. Ms. Wright was a 1968 graduate Of Dock Kemp High School, and a master barber, barber at the Carl Vinson V. A. Center, served as a lab technician and assistant school teacher. She was a great community person. She preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, Willie Wright, Charlie L, Wright and Junior L. Wright: two sisters, Annie Q. Blackshear and Cilla M. Marshall. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, a sister, Annie R. Demmons, Dublin, Ga., a God-son, Jerome Starling, Miami, Fl., nephews, James (Tina) Marshall, Sandersville, Ga., Eugene Marshall and Delma (Cynthia) Marshall and Charles James Armstrong, Wrightsville, Ga., Willie (Loretta) Wright, East Dublin, Ga., two nieces, Shirley (Clifford) Stanley, East Dublin, Ga., and Dianne Wilcher, Wrightsville, Ga., a devoted cousin, Oleatha Cordy, very devoted friends, Larry Waters, Bernice James, Jeanette Thomas and Virginia Snell, Wrightsville, Ga. and a host of other cousins and friends.
