Allen Miller YORK Allen Beatty Miller, 65, of 8263 Park Place Road died Friday, October 28, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Eastview Baptist Church. Rev. Rick Martin will be officiating. Burial will be at Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of York, Allen was a son of the late James Miller, Sr. and Mary Ellen Cabaniss Miller. He was a member Eastview Baptist Church, retired from CarauStar, and a member of the S.C. National Guard. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, Allen is survived by his wife Shirley Miller of York, SC, sons, Scott Allen Miller of Columbia, SC, Andy Miller and wife Amy of York, SC, sisters, Susan Griffith and husband Ray of Rock Hill, SC, Faye Carrigan and husband Clyde of York, SC, brothers, James "Jimmy" Miller, Jr. and wife Hilda of Harrisburg, NC, Bill Miller and wife Robbie of York, SC, Ray MIiller and wife Marie of York, SC, grandchildren, Luke Miller of Clover, SC, Drew Miller of York, SC, and Allie Ann Miller of York, SC. Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 6-8 PM The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the ICU department at Piedmont Medical Center for their love and care.
