Funeral services for Mrs. Zellie Pearl Evans of East Dublin will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at 1 PM at Holly Spring Baptist Church 2345 Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Pastor Joe H. Shinholster will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mount Green Church Cemetery.

She was born to the late Mr. Braxton Brown, Sr. and the Fannie Pearl Brown on December 4, 1950 in East Dublin. She departed this this life on October 30, 2013.

She graduated from B. D. Perry in 1968. She met and married her devoted husband in 1969. They were married for 44 years. They have two children and four grandchildren. She was an active member of Mount Green Baptist Church. She loved writing and reading poems. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother, a hard worker and a dedicated friend. She worked for Forstman and Company for many years and retired from Wal-Mart after 25 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Edward Evans Jr., one son and daughter-in-law, Patrick(Nakia)Evans, one daughter, LaSonya Evans, four grandchildren, Kwaski Walters, Patrick Evans, Kierra Evans, and Keausha Evans, one brother, Braxton(Veronica)Brown, mother-in-law, Doretha Evans, three brother-in-laws, Clinton (Kathy) Evans, Linaton (Myrtle)Evans, Eddie (Lisa) Evans, one sister-in-law, Dorothy(Prentice) Rozier, two uncles, Elder Ira (Inez) Edwards, and Joshua (Helen) Edwards, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Lashonya Evans, 205 Chase Drive, East Dublin.
