Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Judon Butler, of Dublin, will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Strawberry African Methodist Episcopal Church, 630 Country Club Road, Dublin. Reverend Jamie Pittman will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Yvonne Judon was born on August 14, 1954, to the late Hubie and Odessa Judon. At an early age, she joined Holly Grove Church and was a faithful member and usher.

She attended Millville High School and was loved by many of her classmates. It was shortly thereafter that she married and moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she lived for over thirty years and had one son, Douglas Butler. She received her certification in phlebotomy. She worked over twenty-five years in the medical field and at Metro Hospital where she was well known and loved by many of her coworkers. Due to illness, she was forced to retire and was living in Georgia. She was loved by all of her family and friends. She was known to take up time with everyone around her and was praised for her apple pies, seven-up cakes and her love for flowers, such as black eyed suzies and lillies. She passed away on May 31, 2018.

Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her brothers, Noah Jean Judon, Julius Brown and Theotis Judon, and by her sisters, Eloise Judon Coney and Barbara Jean Judon Whipple.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving son, Douglas Butler, Cleveland, Ohio, sisters, Ideris (Yancey) Reynolds, Gussie O'Neal, Almarene Stanley and Sandra (Gus) O'Neal, all of Dublin, brothers, Willie (Sylvia) Judon, Jimmy Brown and John Judon, all of Dublin, one sister-in-law, Gloria Judon of Lakewood, Ohio and J. C. Coney of Dublin; devoted great niece, Khloe Reynolds and great-great nieces, Jaylee Stanley and Jordyn McArthur, all of Dublin and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1327 O'Neal Drive in Dublin.
