Funeral services for Mr. Winson Monroe, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 11 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Izell Stevens will officiate. Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Highway in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. Monroe, who passed away on March 19, 2015, was born on August 5, 1958, to the late Charlotte Dixon Bailey and Floyd Monroe. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Pittman and Mattie Mae Pittman; three brothers, William Sheffield, Rozell Timmons, Ralph Timmons; and one niece, Marlyn Pittman.

He is survived by his sons, Corey Davis and Winston Davis; his grandchildren, Tykez Davis, Destini Davis, ShaNaiya Davis, Malik Davis, and Aulyric Davis; devoted stepdaughter, Mandy Davis; stepson, Travis Davis; sister, Rosetta O'Neal; brothers-in-law, Otha O'Neal, Sr., Lonnie Pittman; niece, LaWanda O'Neal; nephews, Otha O'Neal, Jr., Derrick O'Neal, Christopher Wright, JaQuil O'Neal, Lawandrick O'Neal, Alexander O'Neal, Ian Wright, all of Dublin, and a host of other devoted relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Rosetta O'Neal, 804 Central Avenue in Dublin.
