Funeral services for Mr. Willie Woodard, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Wabash Church Of God, 500 Telfair Street in Dublin where Pastor Reginald Mays is the overseeing clergy. Bishop James Sinclair will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Woodard, known as "Dad", passed on October 25, 2014, and was born December 5, 1922, to the late Willie Sr. and Lizzie Woodard.

He married the love of his life, Bernice Woodard who preceded him in death. Out of this bond of matrimony, they were blessed with eleven beautiful children and one adopted daughter.

He was peceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Jones and was also preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.

Mr. Woodard is survived by his children, Lizzie Mae Wooten, Henrietta Blackmon, Patricia Woodard, Debra Woodard, Linda Walker, Cora Woodard, Tony Woodard, Willene Underwood, Willie Jr. Woodard, Elouise Clark, Veronica Wooten, thirty four grandchildren, sixty six great grandchildren and forty one great-great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1606 South Jefferson Street Apartment F2 in Dublin and 6-8 PM on Thursday at the Dudley Funeral Home.
