Funeral services for Mr. Willie Gene Thomas, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at the Pine Hill Christian Church, 2908 Fountain Road in Cadwell. Pastor Belinda Faye Mitchell will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born on February 6, 1941, in Laurens County to the late Lee Watson and Georgia Ella Thomas. He passed away on August 2, 2018. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Belisha Thomas, his twin brother, Willie James Thomas and sister, Mary Jane Thomas Williams.

He attended Laurens County Schools and was a member of Pine Hill Christian Church.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his children, Willie O. Thomas, Norfolk, Virginia, Crystal (Reggie) Cummings, Macon, Mona Lisa (Antonio) Coney, Tammie (Albert) Brown, Montez Thomas, Marcia (Chris) Hall, Dublin, five grandchildren, Brittany and Elexus Coney, Nia O’Neal, Aja Brown, Reggie Cummings, Jr., two great grandchildren, Bryston Troup and Skylen Waters, brother, Prophet Benjamin Thomas, brothers-in-law, Roosevelt (Catherine) Robinson, Tommie Williams, aunts, Katie Lou Fullwood and Mary Ann Ivery and a devoted cousin, Virginia Harvery and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 306 Hillside Drive in Dublin.
