Funeral services for Mr. Willie B. Thomas, of East Dublin, will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 11 AM at the Greater Union Grove Church of God In Christ, 4780 US Highway 80 West in Montrose. Apostle James Bell will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Willie B. Thomas was born on May 5, 1949, to the late Mr. William Thomas. He received his general equivalency diploma in the United States Job Corps, and later joined the United States Army, and served in the United States National Guard, where he retired as a Staff Sergeant (SP 5) after more than twenty years of service. He also worked at Engelhard Corporation for a number of years. He was a member of the Word of Harvest Ministries Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Apostle James Bell. He was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Parker Lee, and Ulysses Thomas, and by one sister, Rebecca Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Thomas, his mother, Hazel Thomas of Montrose, Georgia, two sons, Reginald (Tracy)Thomas of Macon, Georgia, and Bernard Thomas (Lashona Wright) of Rentz, Georgia, one daughter, Tameka Thomas of Macon, Georgia, three grandchildren, Ebony Thomas, Akeria Blue, and Jacob McCloud, one great grandchild, Khole Thomas,two stepdaughters, Kimberly Hall of Dublin, and Jacqueline (Richard) McNabb of Crestview, Florida, two stepsons, Charles Cooper and Robert (Crystal) Jones, Jr., both of Dublin, three sisters, Harriet (David) Pryor of Macon, Daisy (Joe) Stuckey, and Joanne McNeal, both of Montrose, four brothers, Marion Thomas, Michael (Fatima) Thomas, both of Dublin, Wendell Thomas of Mississippi, and Phillip (Angela) Thomas of North Carolina, three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Fuller, Emma (Havie) Smith, and Katrina (Douglas) Inman, all of Dublin, fourteen step-grandchildren, and one step great- granddaughter, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 864 Fletcher Stanley Road in Montrose.
