Funeral Services for Mrs. Willie Ruth Norris Woods, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 1 PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Reverend David Flowers will officiate.

Mrs. Norris was born on October 15, 1945 to the late Leo and Bertha Mae Horne Norris. She attended B. D. Perry High School and retired from P. L. Garment Manufacturing, Dublin. She passed away on June 21, 2018

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Woods, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Mozella Horne; paternal grandparents, Frank and Deanna Norris; stepmother, Mary Lizzie Norris; brother, John Norris; sisters, Betty Jean Norris and Lillie Rose Coady; and grandson, Kemoiyale Davis.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her only child, Judith (Tony) Davis of Dublin; stepdaughter, Addie Haynes of Atlanta; sisters, Eppie D. Norris, Annie Q. Wright, Lillie A. Davis, Zeldina Ray, and godsister, Juanita King all of Dublin; grandchildren, Yawakii A. (Carmonea) Davis and Karentia (Robert) Prince, all of Dublin, and Henry Lee (Joy) Prince, Jr. of Warner Robins; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 6-7 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home, and at the home of her daughter, Judith (Tony) Davis, 600 West Mary Street, Dublin.
