Funeral services for W.R. "Buddy" Brandon, 73, of Eden, Texas will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Eden Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gene Lusk, minister of the Eden Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in the Eden Cemetery under the direction of the Eden Funeral Home.

Mr. Brandon went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Menard, Texas.

Born July 31, 1940 in Brady to Willie Brandon and Lillie Mae Lewallen Brandon, he was raised in Eden and graduated from Eden High School. He married Sandra Jackson on July 2, 1960. Buddy worked for many years on the Raymond Pfluger "H" Ranch and later moved to Sonora where he was a welder, truck driver, and gas plant operator. He was a member of the Eden Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Wynelle Bishop Pope.

He is survived by his former wife Sandra Jennings; one daughter, Carol Ann Warren and her husband Steve of Abilene; one grandson, Stephen James Warren of Lubbock; and two nieces, Debora Kaye Mayfield and Pamela Sue Hunter both of San Angelo.
