Funeral services for Mr. Willie Arthur Palmer, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at the Holly Spring Baptist Church, 705 Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend Cecil Moore will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mitchell Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Willie Palmer was born on July 26, 1955, to Ola Mae Palmer and Leroy Jackson in Dublin. Mr. Palmer attended school at the B. D. Perry in East Dublin. He worked as a driver for Easter Seals. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his parents, along with one son, Patrick Lewis, his brothers, Charlie, Jason, and Albert Coley, Willie Lee, Troy Lee and Roy Lee, and by sisters, Bernice Wright and Queen Ester Robinson. He leaves to cherish his loving memories a loving companion, Ella (Louise) Edmond, six daughters, Ammie (Lonny) Smith, Sheree McClendon, Tarria Wright, Kay Palmer, all of Dublin, Shalett Palmer, Columbia, South Carolina, and Stacy Palmer, Wrightsville, Georgia, sisters, Ola Mae Wright and Eva Mae Hines, Dublin, Georgia, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a close friend, Lamar Waters, and a devoted nephew, J. W. Robinson.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Ola Mae Wright, 1019 Brewton-Lovett Road in East Dublin.
