Funeral Services for Mr. Willie James Lovett, 78, of East Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 1 PM at the Running Feet for Christ Christian Center, Highway 46, Soperton. Reverend Jimmy E. Cordy, Sr., will officiate. Burial will follow in the Adrian City Cemetery, Adrian.

Mr. Lovett was born on December 27, 1936, in Treutlen County. The Lord saw fit to end his earthly journey on Thursday, March 26, 2015.

He was a member of the Georgia Grove Baptist Church of Tennille. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather who loved his family and friends. He loved to fish, hunt and gardening in his spare time.

Mr. Lovett was preceded in death by his parents and by eleven siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosetta Smith Lovett of East Dublin; nine children, Elizabeth (Rev. Jimmy) Cordy, Pearly (Darby) Harris, Janie (Raimondo) Harrell, Sara Lovett, Lee Willie Lovett all of East Dublin, Mariann Dixon, John (Chiquita) Lovett, Debra (Elmo) Jordan, all of Soperton and Debra Ann Lovett of Warner Robins; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 513 Sunset Lane, East Dublin.
