Herman, Willie Charlie Muskegon Mr. Willie C. Herman, age 85, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his home. Willie was born September 9, 1930 to James and Reatha (Dowkins) Herman, in Drew, MS. He was employed at Sealed Power Corp., in 1953 as a Machinist and Inspector for over 38 years. He retired from Sealed Power in 1991. He was a member of Zion Westside Baptist before becoming a member at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, playing cards and telling jokes. He was a Carpenter, Landlord and he loved driving his truck. Willie is survived by his wife of 31 years, Clara Wheeler-Herman; 4 sons Tyrone B., (Katherine), Gregory L. (Gloria), Earnest L. (Brenda) Herman, and step-son Marcus Wheeler, all of Muskegon; 1 step-daughter Gail (Kevin) Tolbert of Melvindale, MI; special cousins Wilson Pepper and Yvonne McDaniel; special sister-n-laws Louise Herman and Pinky Brown, both of Muskegon, and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren and friends. Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Mt. Hermon Zion Baptist Church, 2400 Sanford St. Visitation with family will be one hour prior to service 10 am - 11 am.
