Memorial service for Mr. William Leroy Rose, 81 of Goleta, CA, formerly of Clarksville who went to be with his Lord, March 23, 2020 at Sarah’s House, Santa Barbara, CA will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, 501 S. William Leroy Rose was born in Clarksville, TX to Minnie Rose on May 17, 1938 in Annona, TX. He graduated high school at Cheatham High School, Clarksville, TX.

William served in the United States Air Force from March 1958-December 1960. William enjoyed spending time with his family when he could. He married Maxine Wooten to this union a daughter was born Rochelle Rose (Dallas, TX). He is also survived by a daughter Laseda Dickson (Amarillo, TX). A son Tra-Maine Rose Jones (Oakland, CA). Four Grandchildren, Six great grandchildren. A Sister Peggy Rose Parker, Ft. Washington, MD, a Niece & Nephew. A host of other relatives. A special friend Ms. Mary Stephens, Santa Barbara, CA

He was preceded in death by his mother Minnie Ola Rose, a sister Ella Smith.
