Funeral services for Mr. William "Jack" Roberson of Dublin will be on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home . Reverend Ted Walters will officiate.

Mr. Roberson who passed on March 15, was born on March 10, 1940 in Robersonville, North Carolina to the late Nathaniel and Erma Lee Roberson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Roberson, Carl Roberson and a sister, Cora Roberson. For years, he worked at the Shell Oil Company at a refinery in Sewaren, New Jersey.

Mr. Roberson is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Helen Roberson; one son, Derrick Roberson of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; three grandchildren, Giavanna Helen Roberson, Olivia Delana Roberson, Spencer Mott all of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; four sisters, Emma Pelle of North Carolina, Annie Slade of New York City, Evelyn (Ams) Trowell of New York City, Glenda (Joe) Springer of Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Georgia Smith of Springfield, Massachusetts, Eunice Owens of Santa Clara, California, Geraldine Wells of East Dublin; brother-in-law, Timothy Wells and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 908 Pinehill Road in Dublin.
