Funeral services for Mr. William "Bubba" Horne will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 3PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Interment will follow in the Buckeye Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Bernard Young will officiate. Mr. Horne, who passed on February 7, 2012, was born July 17, 1953, to Mrs. Dorothy and the late Mr. Johnie G. Horne in Wrightsville, Georgia. Mr. Horne was a kind hearted, loving father, grandfather, and friend. He loved to go fishing. Mr. Horne leaves to mourn his passing a devoted companion, Ms. Hazel Plummer and her daughter, Shamecca Plummer of East Dublin one daughter, Shelby H. Dunn of Portsmouth, VA two sons, William Patrick Horne and William Antonio Horne of Dublin three sisters, Ms. Bernestine Landus of Tennille, Ms. Helen Jackson and Mrs. Gail (Jeff) ONeal of Wrightsville one brother, Mr. Freddie (Jackie) Horne of Wrightsville one uncle, Mr. O.W. Fleming of Wrightsville, thirteen grandchidlren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Friends are being received at the family residence, 129 Boat Road in East Dublin.
