Funeral services for Mr. William "Billy" Henry Gibson, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017, at 11 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Gibson passed on July 14, 2017. He was a native of Laurens County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Henry and Georgia Gibson; and two sisters, Cheryl Willis and Thelma Sumblin.

He joined First African Baptist at an early age.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his three sisters, Doris (Theodore) Allen; Shelia White; and Wanda Kay (Lymn) Love: one brother, Tyrone Gibson. He is also survived by a devoted nephew, Charles (Tara) Sumblin. He has a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family is receiving friends at 311 Eleanor Drive in Dublin.
