Funeral services for Mrs. Willene Woodard Underwood, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Everlasting Gospel Non-Denomination Church at 1300 South Jefferson Street in Dublin. Reverend Elgin L. Dixon will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Willene Underwood was born on October 29, 1947, in Telfair County, Georgia, to the late WIllie Woodard, Sr., and Bernice Woodard. She departed this life on Monday, January 6, 2020, to be with her Lord.

Mrs. Underwood as preceded in death by her husband, Ira Underwood, one daughter, Delouise Woodard, one stepson, Ira Underwood, four sisters, Nancy Jones, Linda Walker, Lizzie Wooten, Elouise Clark, and by one brother-in-law, Rodriccus Blackman.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her daughter, Celastine (Johnny Dixon) Woodard, and grandchildren, Antwan (Ebony) Woodard, of Raeford, North Carolina, Glendrell (Juwan) Kemp, Ebony Woodard, Arkeem Woodard, Whitney Guyton, Jhonica Dixon, Robert Woodard, Constance Woodard, and twenty-one great-grandchildren, all of Dublin, sisters, Cora Woodard, Betty Woodard, Debra Woodfork, all of Dublin, Patricia Woodard, of McRae, Henrietta Blackmon, of Hope Mill, North Carolina, brothers, Willie (Gwendolyn) Woodard, Jr., of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Tony Woodard of Atlanta, brothers-in-law, Larry Walker, Randy Wooten, and Russell Clark, and two devoted friends, Juanita Myricks, and Beatrice Plummer, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
