YORK -- Wiley Jack Lewis Sr., 79, of 1888 Flat Rock Road died Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2 P.M. at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Rock Hill with Pastor Jeff Lingle officiating. .
Jack was a son of the late William Harold Lewis, Sr. and Genevieve Pender Lewis. He was of the Protestant faith and he retired as a heavy equipment operator. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by wife, Irene Evans McClure Lewis of York, SC, sons Wiley J. Lewis, Jr. (Phyllis), Forrest W. Lewis (Marty), Mark T. Lewis (Lisa), Mathew W. Lewis (Tabitha), 2 sisters JoAnn Hodge (Cliff) , Judy Fox (Dan), 2 brothers Roy Lewis (Mary), Bill Lewis, sister-in-law Diane Lewis, 11 grandchildren, Heather, Becky, Zach, Eathon, Kera, Echo, Dillon, Mat Jr., Andrea, Andrew, and Jesse, and 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by sister Helen Dalgleish and brother Lloyd Lewis.
