Funeral services for Mrs. Warnell "Peaches" Martin, of Dublin, will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 2 PM at the Saint Peters Baptist Church, 912 Martin Luther King Drive in Dublin. Reverend Shawn Curtis will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dexter.

Mrs. Martin was born on July 23,1965, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Carl Hicks, Sr., and Annie Ruth Hicks McNear. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Saint Peters Baptist Church and was employed at Applied Service for several years until her health failed. Mrs. Martin was a graduate of West Laurens High School and of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. She had a passion for singing and she liked to make others laugh. Mrs. Martin went to her heavenly home on Wednesday September 5, 2018. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by siblings Derrick Hicks and a nephew Sheddrick Harris.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her loving husband of fourteen years, Robert Martin, daughter, Tishal (George) Snead, Charita Morris, and Rahni Martin, stepson, Daniel Martin, grandchildren, Zorian McDonald, Uriah Kyler, Javoria Kyler, My'Jerria Carey, and My' Kerrica Carey, brothers, Carl (Tamika) Hicks, Jr., Sheddrick Hicks, Tony (Erica) Horne, sisters, Gwendolyn(Micheal) Braddy, Troy (Teresa) Hicks, mother-in-law, Evelyn Martin, brothers-in-law, MacArthur( Marita) Evans, Matthew Martin, Jr., Theodis Martin, and Andrew Martin, sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lewis, Patricia (James) Smith, Barbara (Blanton) White, Stella (Toscanell) Smith and Evelyn Martin, godsisters, Veronica (Kenny) Montford, life-long devoted friend, Linda (Tim) Garnto, special friends, Sammy Demmons and Lakeithia Cannida, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1108 Stonewall Street in Dublin.
