Funeral services for Mr. Wallace Harris, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 11 AM at the gymnasium of the East Laurens High School, 920 US Highway 80 West in East Dublin. Superintendent K. Rivers will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Harris, who passed on October 11, 2015, was born on December 26, 1937, to the late Napolean and Lela Harris in Soperton. His family relocated to Pompano Beach, Florida, where he attended Blanche Ely High and graduated in the class of 1937. He was self employed as a professional pool finisher until he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Lena Mae Harris and Rosa Harris; a daughter, Lela Marie Chatman and a brother, Leroy Tucker; two sisters, Ida (Saul) Archer and Ossie Pearl (Wilbert) Jones.

Mr. Harris leaves to celebrate his life a devoted wife, Lola Harris; seventeen children, Robert Harris, Wallace Elliott (Veronica) Harris, Michael (Toni) Harris, Gregory (Sandra) Harris, Naepolean (Cantrell) Harris, Joseph (Tasha) Harris, Christopher Harris, Willie (LaShondra) Harris, Gail (Henry) McNabb, Helen (Ronnie) Taylor, Junita Harris, Angelena Harris, Wallena Harris, Vanessa Harris, Faith Harris, Nicole Harris, and Sherry Harris; three stepchildren, Renae (Bernard) Hightower, Ronda Wright and Lee (Christina) Wright; three sisters, Betty (Sam) Sneed, Gloria Telfair and Junell Lenair, seventy-two grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.

The family will receive friends at 2500 Harris Road in East Dublin.
