Waldon McClurg

Age 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. He was born in Bergholz, Ohio to the late William Earl and Phyllis Rose (Carmen) McClurg on February 2, 1922. He was a retired automobile mechanic from West End Motors in Wintersville, Ohio. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Irondale, Ohio. Nicknamed "Bud," he is survived by a son Randy (Tracy) McClurg of Louisville; daughters, Pam Obermann of Steubenville, Ohio, and Paula Obermann of Wheeling, West Virginia; step-sons, Kenneth (Beverly) Cox of Boardman, Ohio, Ronald (Joyce) Cox of Canton, Ohio, and Raymond Cox of Akron, Ohio; step-daughters, Sandy (John) Brasko of Barberton, Ohio, and Brenda (Dennis) Goad of Desoto, Missouri; and dear loving friend, Barb Ross of Canton, Ohio; 21 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Laura Virginia (Wilson) McClurg in 1982; wife, Betty Cox McClurg in 2003; son, Terry Eugene McClurg; brother, Dale; and sisters, Mary, Wilda, & Shirley.
