Funeral services for Mr. W.L. Wicker, of Soperton, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 2 PM at the Resource for Life Church, 6978 Georgia Highway 46, Soperton, Georgia. Reverend Earzie Day will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Adrian City Cemetery.

Mr. W. L. "Dove" Wicker was born on April 16, 1940, to the late James Lester Wicker and Mae Bell Wicker. He was a resident of Treutlen County and was employed with Mr. Alvin Wheeler for over forty years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Lee, a brother, Jimmy L., and sisters, Ula Mae, Emma Lou, and Lavern Parker. Mr. Wicker passed away on December 13, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Adel Wicker, a son, Dennis Curry, a daughter, Linda Curry, his siblings, Faye (Cecil) Wadley, Annette (the late Freddie) Mills, Diane (Elvis) Pierce, Carolyn (Andy) Holliman, Clayton (Martha ) Wicker, all of Soperton, L. H. (Dessie Mae) Wicker of East Dublin, two granchildren, Keith Adkins, and Martel Curry of Soperton, two great-grandchildren, Karter Atkins, and Martel Curry of Soperton, special people in his life, Ronnie Jane (Daniel) Mincey, Geraldine (Bobby) Williams, Denise (Lonnie) Wicker, all of East Dublin, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
