Obituary Notice Virginia Alexander SMYRNA -- Virginia Blackwelder Alexander, 81, of 615 McKnight Rd passed away Monday, January 28, 2013, at White Oak Manor in York. There will be a graveside service 11:00 AM Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, with Rev. Monica Tilley officating. Vistation will be Wednesday January 30, 2013, from 6-8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home. Virginia was a daughter of the late Lewis and Lillie Rose Blackwelder. She was member of New Zion United Methodist Church in Smyrna and was the widow of AJ Alexander. She is survived by her son, Jerry Alexander, of Mauldin, SC and daughter, Carol Lathan (Ronnie) of Smyrna, brother Lewis Blackwelder, of York, SC, and three sisters, Edith Ivey, of Laurenburg, NC, Margaret Parker and Renee Dover, both of Clover, SC, her granddaughter, Wendy Lathan Catledge, (Billy), and great grandson Garret Catledge.
