Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Stuckey Isaac, 64, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Wabash Church of God, 500 Telfair Street in Dublin. Reverend Reginald D. May will officiate. Burial will follow at the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Isaac gained her wings on Friday February 3, 2012. She was born January 20, 1948 in Montrose, Georgia, to the late Josie Henry Stuckey and the late Joseph Stuckey. She was the granddaughter of the late Leola Blash Henry and the late Dave Henry and the daughter-in-law of the late J.C. Isaac and the late Alberta Isaac. She graduated from Millville High School in 1967. At a young age, Viola joined Union Grove Church of God in Christ and on October 17, 1970, she married James Otis Isaac Sr. and became a member of Wabash Street Church of God. Mrs. Isaac lived in Dublin and worked at Fairview Park Hospital for more than 30 years until she retired in 2007. Mrs. Isaac was preceded in death by her brother, David Stuckey, sister-in-law, Ethel Taylor, and brother-in- law, Bishop Moss. Survivors include her husband, James Otis Isaac, Sr., of Dublin, her children, Stephanie Isaac Ruth of Dublin, Theresa (Ronald) Isaac Walker of Springfield, Keith (Michelle) Isaac of Dublin, Lavetta Nesbitt of Richmond, VA, James Isaac, Jr. of Dublin, Michael (LaConya) Isaac of Little Rock, AR, her siblings, Claudia (Willie) Stuckey, Lloyd Billy Higdon, Carvin Davis Jr., Gregory (Carolyn) Davis, Tracey Davis, Lolita Davis, and Jammie Davis, all of Miami, FL, her sisters-in-law, Ida Bell Moss, Delois (Roosevelt) both of Dublin, Jacqueline (Edmond) Strozier of Macon, Sarial Jaffar (Carlman) of Mobile, AL. She also leaves to cherish her memories ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
