Funeral Service for 63 year old, Ms. Vera Marie Smith of Fort Worth, TX formerly of Clarksville, TX who went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Southwest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Worth, TX, will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a .m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Detroit, TX Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Clarksville, TX with Elder Rastus Perry eulogist

Vera Marie Smith was born in Clarksville, Texas to Leroy Smith and Ruby Morgan Smith-Scales on January 16, 1954. She went to school in Clarksville High, later received her GED and completed some college classes in culinary. She worked in restaurants for over 20 years, later became disable after a back injury. She enjoyed church, movies and family.
Vera (Peewee) is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy & Ruby; one brother, Caldean; 3 sisters, Corleen, Clara, and Veronica.


She leaves to cherish her memory,
