Funeral service for 68 year old Mrs. Vera Lee Ricks Cook of Clarksville, TX who went to be with her Lord, June 10, 2021 at Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX, will be June 19, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Rosser officiating. Interment will be in Fairground Cemetery, Clarksville, TX

Mrs. Vera Lee Ricks Cook was born July 19, 1952 to Vernon and Esta Ricks in Clarksville, TX. She graduated from Cheatham High School. She married Larry Cook September 1, 1997. Vera worked for Red River Health Care. She worked as a healthcare provider for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Esta Ricks and father Vernon Ricks, along with two sisters, Ella Cole and Esta Gay Ricks; and one brother, Brian Ricks.

Her daughters: Casonya Ricks and Veronica Ricks both of Clarksville, TX
Her sisters: Lillie McDonald (Harold) of Oklahoma City, OK and Alma Williams (Fitzgerald) of Clarksville, TX
Her brothers: Jerry Ricks of Washington,
Ronnie Ricks (Margie), Darryl Ricks (Victoria), Dale Ricks, and Randy Ricks (Mary), all of Clarksville, TX
Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
