Travis Devero

Funeral services for Mr. Travis Tyrone Devero, of Wrightsville, will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at 2 PM at the Zion Hope Baptist Church, 4507 Watermelon Road, in Tennille. Reverend Grady Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Devero, who passed on May 15, 2017, was born on December 24, 1979, in Dublin to Bobby and Mahalia Devero. He was educated in the Johnson County Schools. At an early age, he joined the Pine Grove AME Church in Tennille, and also attended services at the Zion Hope Baptist Church in Tennille. Mr. Devero spent most of his time being very free spirited, loving to family and friends. In so many ways, he has touched all of our lives, and leaves behind wonderful memories of his smile and adventurous attitude.

Mr. Devero is survived by his only loving son, Daezon Devero, two sisters, Kimberly Devero of Wrightsville, and Priscilla (Shun) Mitchell of Conyers, grandparents, Melzie Williams of Wrightsville, Mattie Mae Devero of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Tommy Devero of Wrightsville, nephews, Elijah Thomas, Ashton and Adarius Mitchell, nieces, Elise Thomas, Alacyia Devero, and Ashonna Mitchell, one great nephew, Zayne Thomas, aunts and uncles, Janice Wright, Gloria May, Evelyn (Bob) Lumpkin, of Atlanta, Wade (Betty) Williams of Harrison, Jimmy (Glenda) Williams, Jasper (Carol) Williams, Kenneth (Jerry) Williams, Anthony Williams, Richard (Jannie) Sampson of Decatur, Henry Sampson of Pensacola, Florida, James Sampson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Stacey Devero of Miami, Florida, Anthony (Yolanda) Devero of Alpine, Alabama, Tracey (Danielle ) Devero of Lake Villa, Illinois, Tommie Lee (Nana) Devero Jr., of Miami, Florida, Renita Devero of Talledega, Alabama, Ms. Rachel (Archie) Moore of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Valerie (Dexter) Deven Lym of Panama City, Florida, and numerous devoted cousins and friends who loved "Pee Wee"and will forever hold the memories they shared close to their hearts.

The family is receiving friends at 230 Old Tucker School Road, Wrightsville.
