Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Sinkfield of Macon, Georgia, formerly of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home.
Mr. Sinkfield was born on May 11, 1948, to the late Charlie and Lizzie Mae Sinkfield in Dublin, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He will be remembered for his wit, and fine character. Everyone that knew him would agree that he was a skillful handyman. Anything that was broken, he could fix, no matter how big or small. He was a true talent. Tommy enjoyed reading, fishing, and cooking. Most importantly, he was caring, funny, energetic, and always friendly. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He will truly be missed by many. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Diane and Helen Sinkfield, Emily Sinkfield Edmond, Geneva Sinkfield Pullen, and by his brothers, Roy, Ulysses, Richard, Bobby, Charles, and Eugene Sinkfield. Mr. Sinkfield passed away on March 8, 2019.
Mr. Sinfield is survived by his brothers, Larry (Rosalyn) Sinkfield, and Curtis Howard, both of Dublin, two uncles, Jacob Robinson, and Daniel Robinson of Winter Park, Florida, a special nephew, Demond Sinkfield, and a host of other loving nieces, nephews cousins, and relatives, and dear friends.
The family is receiving friends at 1706 Highland Avenue, 707 Euclid Street, both in Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, 2019, 7:30 - 8:30 PM.
