Funeral Services for Mr. Timothy Jerome Brown, 50, of Macon, will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2 PM at the First African Baptist Church, 405 Telfair Street, Dublin. Pastor R. Loretta Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dublin Memorial Gardens in Dublin.

On November 1, 2015, God called an angel home. Imagine Tim’s smile and high kicks when he reached and touched the golden streets, and Jesus said, "my son, welcome home”.

Timothy Jerome Brown was born to Carlton Brown and the late Bernice Anderson Brown on September 22, 1965. Mr. Brown was born and raised in Dublin where he was a faithful member of the Howard Chapel United Methodist Church until he changed his membership to Word of Salvation Ministry in Macon under Pastor R. Loretta Williams. He is a 1983 graduate of Dublin High School. Mr. Brown received a bachelor of arts degree from Clark Atlanta University with a major in spanish. He was a third degree Black Belt and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Kappa Chapter.

Mr. Brown's career spanned from the United States Army, Federal Penitentiary, DeKalb County Sheriff Department, the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Brown’s Taekwondo until his untimely death. He joined Word of Salvation Ministry in 2003. He was ordained as a Minister in October 2008 and ordained as an Evangelist in 2010, and was the youth Sunday school teacher, a part of the Praise Team and he taught taekwondo at the church.

Evangelist Brown is survived by his wife, Sandra Brown of Macon; father, Carlton Brown of Dublin; sister, Angela (Elbert) Solomon of Macon; three daughters, Mia Brown of Stone Mountain, Kiaya McQueen of East Village, New York, and Autumn Brown of Gary, Indiana; one nephew, Justin Solomon of Macon; six aunts, Rosena (Stanley) Brewer of Fayetteville, Daisy Minyard of Rosalyn, Pennsylvania, Rose Anderson of Bronx, New York, Robertha Smith of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Larcia Ballard of Atlanta and Barbara Faye Windham of Dublin; two uncles, Willard Anderson, Jr. of Atlanta and Bishop Perry of Los Angles, California; and a host of other relatives.

The family will receive friends at the home of his father, Carlton Brown, 613 South Decatur Street, Dublin.
