Funeral services for Mr. Thomas James Whitaker, Sr. of Dublin, will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1 PM at the Howard Chapel United Methodist Church, 508 South Washington Street in Dublin. Pastor Antonio Sutton will officiate. The interment will follow on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Whitaker, who passed on December 8, 2016, was born on May 20, 1943.

He is survived by a daughter, Charmaine; son, Thomas, Jr.; sisters, Helen and Louise; brother, Clifford; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the church during the hour prior to the service on Friday.
