Funeral services for Mr. Theodore "Buster" Thomas, Jr., 57, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the Rice Hill Baptist Church, 2706 Moore Station Road in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will deliver the eulogy. Overseer Neil Dixon will preside. Interment will follow in the Moore Station Cemetery.


Mr. Thomas was born on April 24, 1960, in Dublin Georgia. He was a resident of East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta for 48 years where he was loved and had the best of care. He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Theodore Thomas, his two sisters, Deborah Gail Thomas, Cynthia Lynn Wright, a nephew, Roosevelt White, and by a brother-in-law, John Lee Wright. He passed away on February 2, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Hattie Mae Thomas, his brother, Leslie Thomas, Edwin Keith Thomas, sisters, Colleen (Roosevelt) White, Paula (Anthony) Wesley, all of Dublin, uncles, Samuel (Cora) Carr, Harry Carr, both of Dublin, Minister Carnell (Linda Gail) Carr of Griffin, aunts, Margie (Moses) Fullwood, Geneva Carr, both of Miami, Florida, Shirley O'Neal, Myrtice (James) Cummings of Dublin, Eva Dean (Frank) Polite of Hinesville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 3142 Moore Station Road and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 13, 6-7 PM.
