MR. Terry Webb 52 years old of Paris, TX went to be with his heavenly father, September 14, 2013 in Medical Center, Plano, TX. Funeral service were Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Arthur City, TX with Rev. James Alexander, pastor & eulogist. Under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville, TX
On August 1, 1961 Willie Webb and Dorothy Bass Webb of Arthur City, TX were blessed with a special gift from God and they named him Terry Lloyd Webb. He was the ninth of twelve children.
Terry accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He served as President of the Brotherhood.
He received his education from North Lamar High School in Paris, TX. Terry played Defensive Tackle on the football field, center on the basketball court, a member of student council, and was voted Class Favorite.
He was employed by Campbell Soup (Silgan) for 34 years where he was the Lead Mechanic.
In 1996, his life became seasoned with love as he married Addie (Lucy) Earls. Their lives bloomed and blossomed with love until the Lord called him home. Their family included 4 children: Dexter Patrick, Tiquan Wallace, Tiffany Cook, and Cobin West.
Terry loved to barbeque, work on lawn mowers, work on his classic Chevy Nova “and no matter what the problem was it was always the carburetor”. He was a generous man, who always lent a helping hand but not without giving you a financial sermon. He also loved listening to blues and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and four brothers, Lynn Webb, Leon Webb, Curlese Webb Sr. and Willie Paul Webb.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Addie (Lucy) Webb; mother, Dorothy Webb of Arthur City, TX; three sons, Dexter Patrick of Teague, TX, Tiquan (Arian) Wallace of El Paso, TX, and Cobin West of Paris, TX; one daughter, Tiffany (Ryan) Cook; three brothers, Derryn Ray (Louise) Webb, Kenneth Webb, and Patrick Webb all of Paris, TX; five sisters, Florence (Richard) Boyd of Dallas, TX, Trudy Webb (Charles) of Paris, TX, Jessie Davis of Powderly, TX, Eloise Wynn of Dallas, TX, and Ramona (Calvin) Hickerson of Arthur City; Mother-in-law, Rosie Earls of Clarksville, TX; Sister-in-law-Dollie Lewis, of Clarksville, TX, twelve grandchildren, Tionne’, Dextiny, Corde’, Tiquan Jr., Mirakle, Nai’Raya, Jade, Alexis, Tyrese, Payton, Dexton, and Lylah, two special grandchildren, Jaqualion and Keilon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family received friends during Visitation -Friday at St. Luke Baptist Church, 2695 Campbell Street, Paris, TX from 6-7 pm.
