Funeral services for Mr. Terry J. Hines, of Wrightsville, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, December 14, at 2 PM, at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Apostle Clifford Duckworth, Sr. will officiate.


Mr. Hines, who passed December 5, 2013 was born on December 22, 1965, to Charlene Hines and Charlie Weathers in Johnson County. Mr. Hines was preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Annie Bell Wright and by an uncle, Willie C. Hines.


Mr. Hines is survived by his wife of twenty four years, Sonya, and their daughter, Alexis; mother and stepfather, Charlene and Palmer Wells; devoted parents, James and Shirley Hines all of Wrightsville; three brothers, Tony Mason of Dublin, Anthony (Cantrel) Hines of Wrightsville, Scottie Lucas of Boston, Massachusetts; five sisters, Sharon Rawlings of East Dublin, Erica Hines of Wrightsville, Creshuna Hines of Augusta, Pamela Johnson and Shelba Plummer of Dublin; a devoted mother-in-law, Jackie Battle of Wrightsville; three aunts, Betty Swint of Wrightsville, Maxine (Zelmer) Wiley and Pearline (Johnny) Rogers of Tennille; one uncle, Welmer C. Hines of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; four brothers-in-law, Leotis (Sandy) Hurst of Valrico, Florida, James (Denise) Battle of McDonough, Craig (Tangela) Dixon of Wrightsville, Zakeius Battle of Dublin; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia (Terry) Shoneye of Riverdale, LaShawn (Alonzo) Wilson of Wrightsville; godsons, JaCari and JaCori Hines of Wrightsville; devoted nephew, Kerek Battle of Atlanta; one god sister-in-law, Lizzie Cumming of Sandersville; devoted neighbor, Charlene Sumblin of Wrightsville; devoted friend, Jeffery May of Dublin and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 4650 Liberty Grove Church Road in Wrightsville.
