Funeral services for Mrs. Terrie Quinette Lee Pound, of Glenwood, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 1 PM at the Herbert A. Saliba Chapel at the Brewton-Parker College, 201 David Eliza Fountain Circle, Mount Vernon, Georgia. Pastor Theotis Summerset of Guiding Light Worship Center, will present the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Telfair County.

Mrs. Pound is the daughter of Reverend Gussie W. Lee, and the late Robert T. Lee of Glenwood. She was a member of the Saint Paul AME Church where she was a member of the choir and played the piano. She was a graduate of Wheeler County High School and the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Pound was a social service specialist at Department of Family and Children Services. She was always the life of the party. Her spirit and laugh will be with us always.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley T. Lee of Glenwood, mother, Reverend Gussie W. Lee, sister, Arlene L. Brown of Douglasville, nephews, Eric D. Brown, Jr., and Andre’ D. Brown, of Douglasville, special cousin, Rufus (Martha) Wiggins of Eastman, and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Pound will be placed in the chapel one hour prior to services for viewing. A memorial balloon release will take place on Friday, September 22, at 6 PM at the park in Glenwood.
