Teddy Holliman

Funeral services for Mr. Teddy Holliman, Jr., of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at 1 PM, at the graveside in the Strawberry AME Church Cemetery at 630 Country Club Road in Dublin. Reverend Wilbert Simmons will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Holliman was born on October 13, 1940. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1962 and served in the Korean War until 1964. He worked at the Carl Vinson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dublin. He later retired from the Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins and from the Youth Detention Center Corrections Center. He was an active member of the the AMVETS Post in Dublin, where he held multiple positions, until his health declined. Mr. Holliman passed away on May 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Holliman and Mary Jane Holliman, a son, Rodney Holliman, a daughter, Destanee Holliman, a grandson, Alfred C. Washington, two sisters, Eva Mae Jones, and Polly Mae Hodges, two brothers, Cecil Holliman and Charles Holliman.

Mr. Holliman is survived by a devoted companion, Gussie O'Neal, three daughters, Verlene (Danny) Smith, Glendell D. Washington, and Karen Stanley. three sons, Michael (Mary) Holliman, Ramon (Dorothy) Holliman, and Tron Davis, two brothers, Paul (Ella Mae) Holliman and Otis Holliman, a devoted godson, Lenn S. Harris, grandchildren, Ashley Holliman,Michael Holliman, Brittany Holliman, Jericah Holliman, Stedman Holliman, Sr, Armon Holliman, Elizabeth Holliman, Rebekah Holliman, Alana Behlen, Miah Stanley, T. J. Thomas, Dontae Plummer, Tonya Plummer, and Dreco Plummer, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
