Funeral services for Ms. Tanika "Nik Nik" Humbert, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 3 PM at the Saint Peters Baptist Church, 912 Martin Luther King Drive in Dublin. Reverend Gregory Blue will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Strawberry African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery.

Ms. Humbert was born on June 1, 1994 in Brooklyn, New York to Lory "Chief (Wanda) Marion and Carrie Humbert. She was a 2013 graduate of Dublin High School and she attended the Oconee Fall Line Technical College where took courses in Business Management. She was previously employed by Laurens County Mental Health. Writing was her passion, and she enjoyed writing many stories that expressed her creativity, and has published her writings online. She enjoyed bringing joy and laughter into the lives of others, very caring, a compassionate daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. Her hobbies also included watching television, movies, and spending time with her family. She was very family oriented, and valued every family moment. Tanika was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ann Humbert, Richard Weston, and paternal grandparents, Brad and Lillian Bradford. She passed away on February 9, 2019.

Mrs. Humbert leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Eleanor Tierra (Fred) Humbert, Jaysean (Shaniqua) Humbert, Brooke (Thomas) Humbert, Mariah (Al) Humbert, and Shanna Marion, nephews, Jaysean Humbert, Jr., and Jasia Humbert, nieces, Nacirema, Nyla, Na' Kiyah, Ni'Asia, Na' Halee, Narija, Namiyah, all of Dublin, aunts, Jacqueline, Kim, Kay Brantley, uncles, Anthony (Michele) Marion, Victor Marion, all of Dublin, Carrie, Isiah, and George, and a special companion, John Bell and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
