Funeral services for Ms. Susan Ann McCrae of Dudley will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 12 PM at the Laurens Hill Baptist Church, 1404 Laurens Hill Church Road, Dudley.
Reverend Timothy Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Kurtz Cemetery on Payne Cook Road, Dudley.
Susan Ann McCrae was born on May 20, 1960, in Dudley to Mattie Mae White and the late Abraham White. She was a graduate of West Laurens High School. She was employed with McClendon and Sons and Farmers Furniture Corporate Office for a number of years. She joined the Laurens Hill Baptist Church at an early age, and later joined Unity Church of God in Christ where she was a faithful member and she was church secretary and taught Sunday school, until her health declined.
She is survived by her children, Stephan D. Foster, Stephanie N. Foster, and Kiara N. Foster, her mother, Mattie Mae White, of Dudley, grandchildren, Trinity I. Graham, De’Asia J. Linton, and Cassie M. Dudley, sisters, Rosetta Edmond, Evelyn Gwen (Frankie) Coney, Rhonda (Willie) Nesbitt, and Denise White, all of Dublin, brothers, Roy James White of Dublin, Nathan Stewart White, Tony Curtis (Gloria) White, and Keith Brian White of Houston Texas. and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 2030 Chicken Road in Dudley, and 602 B Claxton Pointe, Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Sunday, November 3, from 5-6 PM. Ms. McCrae will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
