Funeral Announcement – SMITH, Stella

Funeral Services for Mrs. Stella Mae Smith, will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at 2 PM at the Holly Springs A.B. Church, 2345 Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Reverend Alton Walker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, Dublin.

Mrs. Smith passed away peacefully at the Memorial Health University Medical Center on June 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew Martin, Sr. and Evelyn Martin, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark Smith, Sr. and Katie Mae Smith; two stepsons, Shaundra Surry and Toscanell Smith, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Warnell Hicks Martin.

She leaves cherished memories to her husband of 10 but together 40 years in all, Toscanell Smith, Sr.; 2 stepchildren, Michael Smith of Colorado and Christopher Smith of Dublin; brothers and sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Patricia (James) Smith of Detroit, MI, MacArthur (Marita) Evans of East Dublin, Matthew Martin, Jr., Theodore Martin, Barbara (Blanton) White, Jr., Robert Martin, Evelyn J. Martin and Andrew Martin all of Dublin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Naomi (Jimmy) Perry, Betty (Robert) Hall, Sara (Jimmy) Edwards, Havie Lee (Emma) Smith, Mark (Thelia) Smith all of Dublin, Bobbie Lee (Frank) Lattimore of Americus, and James (Lorraine) Smith of Macon; a very special and devoted nephew, Toworski Martin; two devoted friends, Sandra Walker and Tamekia Butler; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 103 Forest Avenue, Dublin and 704 Stewart Avenue, Dublin.
