Funeral services for Mr. Spurgeon Lee Sneed, of Dublin, Georgia, will take place as a private family ceremony.

Spurgeon Lee Sneed was born on June 9, 1943, in Dublin, Georgia. He worked as a Certified Diesel Mechanic and he retired after many years of commendable service. He was a member of the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church. At the age of 77, he passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at the Southland Nursing Home in Dublin.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Elijah and Ethel Lou Sneed, Sr., two brothers, Elijah Sneed Jr., and David Sneed, three sisters, Juanita Sneed Allen, Christine (Willie) Bennett, and Annie L. Sneed Neal, and by one stepsister Merline Belton.

He leaves behind a loving and devoted family which includes his only child, Bridgett (Scott) Tillman of Conyers, Georgia, one grandson, Frederic Paige, Jr., and two great grandsons, Khilyn and Kyrie Paige of Alpharetta, Georgia, one brother, Joseph (Francis) Sneed of Dublin, Georgia, one sister, Eliza Mae Sneed of Fort Wayne, Indiana, one stepsister, Arnette Anderson of Buffalo, New York, one sister-in-law, Martha Sneed of Cochran, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
