Funeral services for Minister Speera Ecaddo Whiteside, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the Brazeal Chapel Church of God in Christ at 1440 Brazeal Circle in East Dublin. Apostle Wallace Salem will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Brazeal Chapel Cemetery.
Minister Whiteside was born on June 13, 1965, in Hudson, New York, to the late Lester and Rosetta McBribe Whiteside, as the third of five children. Mr. Whiteside attended schools in Hudson, New York, and later in life he moved to Dublin, Georgia, where he was employed with Fred’s Distribution Center and with Pizza Hut. On May 2, 2015, Mr. Whiteside married Laverne Harden Booker of Dublin. He was called home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Artticus Crusoe Simon, grandparents, Authur and Maude Whteside, Vester Junas, Pops Albert (Louise) Miller, nephews, Albert Alonza and Roderick Miller, and by a sister, Patricia (Milton) M. Hudson.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Laverne Harden Booker, one daughter, Stacy Whiteside of Buffalo, New York, three sons, Rosean Knuckles of Kensington, Pennsylvania, Arnell Daniels of Piscataway, New Jersey, and Derek (Mikayla) Daniels of Saraland, Alabama, two grandsons, Richard William Roll of Buffalo, New York, Kayden Daniels of California, and five granddaughters, Tia June Le Clair, of Buffalo, New York, Saniyah Daniels of Saraland, Alabama, Moani Johnson and Delania Daniels of West Falls, Texas, and Page Daniels of Piscataway, New Jersey, sisters, Cynitha (Clifton) Carr of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Amber Lynn Miller, Annette Cuyler, Bobbie Mille, and Marcell (Earl) Swanigan of Hudson, New York, Annie P. Clover, Tamara Stuckey, and Chiquita (Jimmy) Devoe of Dublin, brothers, John Whiteside of Clinton, Maryland, Jia Whiteside of New York, George (Kim) Miller and Micky Miller of Hudson, New York, uncles and aunts, Richard and Leola McKinnie, James and Nancy Kea, McAfee and Sadie Bannerman, and Willie and Addnetta Hurst, father and mother-in-law, Willard and Evelena Hardern of Dublin/Lyons, brothers-in-law, Joshua (Susie) McCall of Reidsville, and Martin (Shyne) Harden of Saraland, Alabama, sisters-in-law, Wyonia McCall, Mary McCall of Lyons, Clara Harden of Woodline, and Monica Colwell of Reidsville, devoted godparents, Apostle Wallace and Brenda Salem, Jr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
The family is receiving friends at 1041 Murray Lane in Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 10, 5-6 PM.
