Funeral services for Mr. Sidney Wright, Jr. of Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Christ Deliverance Temple Church, 403 East Garner Street in Dublin. Reverend Henry Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Wright, affectionately known as "Finey", was born in Laurens County on October 24, 1942. He made his transition from this life on March 5, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellaretha Wright; grandparents, Della Mincey Hines and Lucy A. Wright.

Mr. Wright leaves to cherish his memory his father, Sidney Wright, Sr.; one daughter, Brenda (Robert) Edmond; one son, Greg Gillis of Dublin; four sisters, Lena Mae Wright, Ella Mitchell, Shirley Burley, and Jennifer Moss of East Dublin; three brothers, William (Carolyn) Wright, Larry (Katherine) Butler, and Eddie Moss of Dublin; one devoted cousin, Arthur Wright of Dublin; two devoted friends, Jackie Bell and Eva O'Neal of Dublin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 314 Vine Street, Dublin, and on Friday, from 6-7 pm at the Dudley Funeral Home.
