Funeral services for Ms. Shirley Wright, of East Dublin, will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, June 19, 2016, at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend David Flowers will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Wright, who passed on June 9, 2016, was born January 26, 1948, to the late Hubert Hines, Sr., and the late Predetha Stephens Hines. She was married for 37 years to the late Hardred Wright, Jr. She graduated from Millville High School. She was retired from the Laurens County Board of Education Food Service Department. She was a member of the Buckeye Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Choir.

Survivors include her children, Rhoda Wright and Anthony (Vanessa) Wright both of Dublin; sister, Maudree (Anthony) Franklin of Harlem; grandchildren, Tiandra Folsom, Takylah Folsom, Trinley Ray of Dublin, Jaisha Wright of Virginia, and Darius Wright of New York; mother-in-law, Cora Mae Wright of East Dublin; sisters-in-law, Lavonia Coneway of Dublin and Gloria (Russell) Plummer of Atlanta, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1724 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Viewing will be the hour preceding the funeral service.
