FUNERAL SERVICE for 74 year old Mrs. Shirley McPeters of Clarksville, Texas, went to be with her Lord, January 1, 2014 in Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX will be Monday, January 6, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville, TX, Rev. Glenn Scott officiating. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery, Clarksville, TX. Under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church St, Clarksville, TX. Shirley Faye McIntosh McPeters, the daughter of Foster McIntosh and Hellon White McIntosh was born in Clarksville, Texas on February 4, 1939. She attended school in Clarksville and was a devoted homemaker.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Shirley gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Mount Zion CME Church in Clarksville. She joined Haywood Baptist Church after she moved to Haywood.

She was a very active member of the Red River County Helping Hands.

The Lord called her home January 1, 2014

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Foster and Hellon McIntosh, her son: Lavion Jr.; her brothers: P.T., Billy and Hubert McIntosh and
sister: Corine McIntosh Woodson.
