Funeral Services for Ms. Shirley Ann Denson, 47, of Dublin will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 2 PM at the Faith Temple House of Love, 617 South Washington Street, Dublin. Reverend Reginald Cordy, Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, Dublin.

Ms. Denson, who passed on March 11, 2015, was born on April 8, 1967 to the late Mr. Emory Gainey and Ms. Zora Mae Wright Kellam. She was formerly married to Mr. Charles Denson Sr. of Dublin and three children born to this union. She was educated in the Dublin City School system, and was employed at the Shamrock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center until her health failed.

Ms. Denson was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Emory Gainey; mother, Ms. Zora Mae Wright Kellam; grandfather, Mr. O.C. Wright; grandmother Mrs. Lavada O’neal Wright; brother, Antonio Downing; sister, Pricilla Rozier; uncle, Mr. James Wright; two aunts, Georgia Mae Cordy, and Lavern Parker; two grandchildren, TyNeria and JaMeria.

Ms. Denson leaves behind fond memories to her children, Mysheka Holliman, Jessica Denson, Charles Denson, Jr. and Jalisa Denson all of Dublin; five brothers, Jeffery (Jackie) Wright of Augusta, Jerome (Rebekah) Kellam, Emory Jr.(Kendra) Gainey, John Downing all of Dublin, Crandell (April) Gainey of Mesa, Arizona; five sisters, Gail (Edward) Davis, Dagne Davis, Dana Nelson Smith, Gloria Downing and Tomika Downing all of Dublin; a devoted cousin Wanda (Lonzie) Ashley of Dublin; six grandchildren, ShTyiah, Hailey, McKenzie, Kaidyn, Briley, and McKyrie all of Dublin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 523 Hudson Street, Dublin, and on Monday, March 16, at the Dudley Funeral Home, 7-8 PM.
