Funeral services for Ms. Sharon Fordham Gamble, of Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11 AM at the Kingdom Living Church, 807 Smith Street in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will officiate.

Ms. Sharon Fordham Gamble, who passed on October 15, 2015, was born on May 18, 1963, in Miami, Florida to the late Gussie and Nathaniel Fordham, Sr.

She graduated from West Laurens High School in 1981. Ms. Gamble worked as a Waste Water Operator for a number of years in Dublin, Augusta, Wrens, and Atlanta until her health declined. Her favorite hobby was baking. She enjoyed making cookies, cupcakes, candy, and cakes for her family and friends.

She is survived by one son, Michael Fillip (Lacie) Gamble, Jr. of McDonough; three sisters, Veita (Tony) Godfrey, Lisa (Charles) Brown, and Chandra (Vernon) Hall, Dublin; one brother, Nathaniel (Nikki) Fordham, Jr., Milledgeville; one granddaughter, Makenna Gamble, McDonough; five aunts, Nora Mae Jones, Martha White, both of Dublin, Mattie Banks, Miami, Florida, Bernice (Charles) Kemp, Jean (Thomas) Williams, Fort Valley; one great aunt, Elizabeth Kinsey, Dublin; three uncles, Edward Wynn and Roger (Pam) Wynn, Dublin, Jimmy Wynn, Atlanta; a special friend, Geraldine Matthews, East Dublin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
